SOCIAL MEDIA

For our #TechSmart campaign we have curated 16 social media posts over our Facebook and Instagram pages - with the predominant use being Instagram. We have also enlisted the help of Later - a social media posting service allowing posts to be uploaded automatically at the required times.

Later

We used Later to schedule Instagram posts at 11:00am, 3:00pm and 5:00pm as this was the most common posting time for other Kmart campaigns. This application saved time and allowed for more productivity in other areas as time was reduced having to upload manually. 

Instagram & Facebook

Throughout Instagram we used a combination of product specific posts and inspiration posts to capture the essence of our campaign. This included breakdowns of the technology as well as the portrayal of everyday workers in everyday job-sites to show how easy it is to integrate #TechSmart into everyday life. We predominately used Instagram and used Facebook more as an introductory, coming soon platform. 

We used Instagram and Facebook as they are the most popular forms of social media for the average Kmart customer (aged between 23-50)
